Tata Safari select variants get new features

– XT, XZ and XZ+ variants get air purifier, wireless charger, etc

Earlier this month, Tata Motors introduced the Gold Edition of the Safari SUV. While you can read more about it here, the Indian automaker has now revised the feature list of mid-spec equipment in the official document. With the addition of some new features, select parts of the three-row SUV are now priced at between Rs 7,000 and Rs 12,000 more.

Tata Safari can come in six versions – XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+. While the feature list of the previous two variants remains unchanged, the XT and XT+ now benefit from an air purifier. Prices for the mentioned variants have now increased by Rs 7,000.

Besides, the higher XZ and XZ + versions are also equipped with a wireless charger along with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The ex-factory prices of the XZ and XZ+ variants have now been adjusted by Rs 12,000.

The newly launched Safari Gold is offered in two exterior colors – White Gold and Black Gold. Along with gold trim inside and out, the special edition also gets new features like ventilated first- and second-row seats, wireless chargers, and Apple CarPlay and Android wireless connectivity. Auto.

Mechanically, the Safari continues with a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.
