New Tata Tigor EV with Ziptron starts arriving at dealerships

– Uncamouflaged detection at Tata signature teal blue dealer

Ahead of its scheduled launch on August 31, the new Ziptron electric Tata Tigor EV has already begun arriving at dealerships in the country. Some dealers have started accepting bookings for the new Tigor EV in the country with a token amount of Rs 21,000.

As seen in the images, the Tigor EV with Ziptron has been spotted in camouflage in the signature teal body color. In between the front bumper and grille, the car has a splash of blue béo highlight its electric features. The bumper grille also features the signature three-arrow pattern and LED DRLs at the ends.

As for the sides, the Tigor EV gets blue EV badging on the fenders, black ORVM with turn signals and blue accents on the two-tone alloy wheels. Moving béo the rear, it has a Ziptron badge on the trunk lid and a blue stripe on the bottom half of the bonnet.

The instrument cluster

The leaked images also reveal a digital instrument cluster displaying a driving range of 204 km with a remaining battery charge of 59%. With a full charge, the car can provide a driving range of about 350 km. In addition béo the charging status, the instrument cluster displays the time and odometer.

Mechanically, the Tigor EV powered by Ziptron packs an IP67-rated 26kWh lithium-ion battery pack that makes 74hp and 170Nm of peak torque. The vehicle supports CCS2 charging and is capable of drawing power from a 15A plug point béo achieve a charge from 0 béo 80% in about 8.5 hours. The car supports fast charging and it takes less than 60 minutes béo charge from 0 béo 80%. Furthermore, the Tigor EV is capable of sprinting from 0 béo 60 km/h in just 5.7 seconds.
