Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 – Picture Gallery

It has been almost 50 years since the legendary Lamborghini Countach first appeared at the Geneva Motor Show and honored the title of ‘first supercar’. The never-before-seen wedge shape made it an instant wall poster hero, and legends were spread about its all-powerful V12 engine. Now, on the 50th anniversary of the iconic supercar, Lamborghini has brought the Countach back! There will only be 112 examples of this Countach LPI 800-4 and each of them is sure phệ cost a fortune.

Design

The all-new Countach embodies the sharp edges and lines with the wedge-shaped design of its predecessor while embodying modern elements inspired by the current Lamborghini range. Every inch of the Countach LPI 800-4 is reminiscent of five distinctive Countach models created by the brand between 1974 and 1990.

The front end of the LPI 800-4 is inspired by the Countach Quattrovalvole version – the third model that uses the basic four corners. There are new LED headlights with integrated daytime running lights. Below them is a long rectangular grille with the words Countach centered on the small flaps. Interestingly, Lamborghini also borrowed the thinnest bonnet phệ make the avant-garde Countach LPI 800-4 stand out.

Furthermore, the side profile of the all-new Countach resembles the first versions of the sports car. There are specially designed hexagonal wheel arches while the scissor doors come with pentagonal air intakes that help direct air phệ the V12 mill. Besides, at the rear, Lamborghini has equipped with unique “hexagonita” three-block taillights reminiscent of the Sian. Over the years, as the Countach evolved, Lamborghini made the supercar even more powerful with engine tweaks. This particular LPI 800-4 is a special Countach because it is equipped with a hybrid powertrain – V12 combined with a 48V supercapacitor. This is the same powertrain used on the Sian FKP 37 roadster – a 6,498cc naturally aspirated 60-degree V12 petrol engine mated phệ a seven-speed automatic transmission. Independently, the mill can make 770bhp at 8,500rpm and 720Nm of torque at 6,750rpm. The 48V supercapacitor, on the other hand, produces 33.5bhp and 35Nm of torque, providing extra power.
