India car sales analysed – August 2021

The global shortage of semiconductors has plagued automakers for some time. And, the shortage of components has also affected car sales in India. In terms of month-on-month sales, the auto industry registered sales of 2,59,555 units in August 2021 compared phệ sales of 2,94,330 units in July 2021, thereby recording a decrease of 11.8 % on sales.
