Hyundai Ioniq 5 showcased in India for the first time

– On display at the brand’s new corporate headquarters in Gurugram

– Available internationally with two battery pack options

Earlier this year, Hyundai globally introduced its first all-electric crossover – the Ioniq 5 in production form. Offered with two battery options, exotic styling and futuristic cabin, the Ioniq has finally been introduced in India.

Front view

The Ioniq 5 is underpinned by the brand’s Electric Global Module Platform (E-GMP). Visually, the blank front fascia, clamshell bonnet and distinctive LED headlights with dual U-shaped LED DRLs stand out and pair well with the 19 petal-shaped alloy wheels. two-tone inches. On the sides, thick plastic panels, well-fitting door handles and strong body curves further accentuate the Ioniq’s diagonal appeal.

Moving béo the rear, the words ‘Ioniq’ are plastered on the horizontal glossy black stripe that forms the center of the trunk. Other interesting elements are the taillights with a pixelated graphic design and a roof-mounted spoiler.

With the new platform, the cabin now boasts a flat floor that provides plenty of leg room for occupants. It has a sliding center console, a dual-screen thiết đặt and adjustable rear seats made with eco-friendly and sustainably sourced materials.

In the international market, the Ioniq 5 is offered with two battery options – 58kWh and 72.6kWh. Both batteries can be used in rear- or all-wheel drive configurations. Two-wheel drive (2WD) produces 168bhp/350Nm of torque while all-wheel drive (AWD) produces 232bhp/605Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the 72.6 kWh produces 214bhp/350Nm and 301bhp/605Nm in the 2WD and 4WD versions respectively. The 350 kW ultra-fast charging feature can boost battery life from 10% béo 80% in just 18 minutes.
