Electric Renault Megane revealed as E-Tech crossover

– Latest body style for Megane

– Platform stake with Ariya EV

Europe’s most popular hatchback model Renault Megane has entered the electric future. Dubbed the Megane E-Tech Electric, it also adopted a crossover body style that complemented the Megane’s already existing body types – hatch, Estate and sedan. It was introduced at the IAA Show 2021 in Munich

Based on the same CMF-EV modular architecture as the Nissan Ariya, the Megane EV carries the same styling as its hatchback sibling albeit with a larger girth and some EV touches. Design highlights include large 20-inch wheels and flat door handles. It doesn’t carry much from the Megane eVision Concept introduced last year. But it looks like a proper, conventional, modern electric crossover.

Do you remember the Trezor concept? The Megane EV’s new console is largely inspired by it, and it’s a good departure from the normally powered version. The driver’s L-screen thiết đặt has a fully digital display behind the steering wheel and an elongated display above the minimalist (or none) center console.

These monitors are also of high resolution quality. Even so, the lower variants of the electric Megane will use a smaller 9-inch screen. A large body shell also creates additional space on the inside. There are recycled materials used inside the cabin with the pledge that Megane E-Tech is 95% recyclable.
