2021 Honda Amaze launched: Why should you buy it?

Last week, Honda launched the Amaze facelift in India with a host of new cosmetic and feature updates. The 2021 model is available in three variants, with the E variant unchanged and based on the existing model. However, the S and VX variants have received new updates and can be had with both a manual and a CVT transmission option. Customers can choose from five color options – Metallic Meteoroid Grey, Radiant Red, Platinum Pearl White, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Golden Brown.

What’s good about it?

Amaze now features sophisticated styling elements in the form of a sleek snake-wing front chrome grille with sophisticated chrome moldings. The headlights are now sharper and offer LED projector lamps with integrated LED DRLs. It uses new 15-inch two-tone alloy wheels and the rear looks smart with new C-shaped LED taillights. Depending on the variant, you also get push-button engine start/stop, automatic climate control, cruise control and F1-inspired sport paddles. In addition, you also get the new seven-inch Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, navigation, hands-free phone, media player, etc.

What’s not so good?

The entry-level E variant is based on the outgoing model and offers a standard feature list. In the updated avatar, customers can only choose between two variant options – S and VX. Features like the seven-inch Digipad 2.0 touchscreen infotainment system, new alloy wheels, a rear windshield fogger, and a driver-side one-touch window with one-touch up and down with latch protection is limited mập the top variant only.

The top VX variant is the best one as it offers all the modern features.
